🍀 Carlo Santagiustina

Carlo Santagiustina is a behavioural economist and computational social scientist who studies what happens when people, politics and markets collide with the web and its algorithms. He is an INRIA researcher and faculty member working jointly with the Sciences Po médialab in Paris. His research mixes behavioural economics, social psychology, statistics, network science, natural language processing and machine learning to understand how digital platforms and AI shape beliefs, uncertainty and collective behaviour. Before moving to Paris, he worked at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He holds a PhD in Economics and enjoys turning messy digital traces into useful clues about how contemporary societies work.
