An excerpt from a timeline mapping AI agent ecosystems and the OpenClaw family.

What is AI? How can it histories be archived? AI historiographies explores approaches to documenting, archiving and reconstructing the various material histories, software ecosystems and use cultures of AI services and agents.

Building on platform and app historiography, the project gathers and analyses heterogeneous materials to look at archival footprints of AI companies, agentic architectures, feature historiographies and more.
